 Anurag Gupta, MD

 

Dr. Gupta is a board certified adult psychiatrist and board eligible in neurology with over 20 years of experience in providing mental health services. He graduated from the University of Delhi. His desire to further his knowledge in his field lead him to Syracuse University where he completed a second residency in psychiatry and neurology. Not only did he want to obtain knowledge in the field of psychiatry he wanted to delve further and have an understanding of neurological disorders that could contribute to psychiatric conditions.

 

After graduating from the program with distinction, he worked at Cherokee Mental Health Institute in Cherokee, Iowa as a staff psychiatrist for seven years. The state hospital serves the indigent chronically ill population. He was also the medical director at Pride Group which provided long-term care for people with severe mental illnesses. Seeking a warmer climate, he moved to Las Vegas, NV and worked for the Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health System. During his 5-year tenure, he served as acting Medical Director and Associate Medical Director. He was actively involved in all aspects of hospital management. He supervised and taught residents and medical students.

 

He worked with Human Behavioral Institute as an independent staff psychiatrist.  Dr. Gupta wanted to transition into private outpatient services and started Advanced Psychiatry Associates in 2014.  He wanted to take his understanding of psychiatry and clinical creativity to transcend cultural, gender and age barriers. He believes psychiatry is an endless intriguing field where he approaches all his patient with a sense of wonderment at the unique story that will unfold.

 Izabella Ostolski PA-C, M.S. -PA

Izabella Ostolski is a physician assistant who is board certified through National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants with a specialty in psychiatry. She graduated from New York Institute of Technology with honors – Cum Laude.

Izabella started in the career in holistic medicine in NYC.  A holistic approach which views the patient as a complete person- physically, psychologically, socially, and spiritually, in the management and prevention of disease became her primary philosophy to practicing medicine. This peaked her interest to where she wanted to explore the psychological aspect of medicine. She completed a one-year Post-Graduate Physician Assistant Psychiatric Fellowship at Cherokee Mental Health Institute. During her one-year residency, she also completed her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Nebraska.

Thereafter, she joined Cornell Scott Hill Health Center (CSHHC) in New Haven, Ct where she worked in a community health clinic treating indigent chronic mentally ill patients. During her tenure at CSHHC, she was actively involved in launching a Buprenorphine (Suboxone) pilot program. She moved to Las Vegas in 2012 and began working at Southern Nevada Mental Health System outpatient clinic. In 2012, she worked at Human Behavior Institute as an independent clinician. She later joined Anurag Gupta MD at Advanced Psychiatric Associates in 2014 to pursue her philosophy for each individual to attain their fullest potential while on their journey to healing.

Giulianna De Stefani

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 18 years of experience, my therapeutic practice serves individuals, couples, and families looking to work toward healing and growth. I provide services in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

My goal is to provide a caring and empathetic space where individuals can explore their pain and trauma, as well as have the difficult and honest conversations that need to be had in order to make changes and work toward personal growth. I provide therapy where my goal is to help you find a therapy style that best helps you reach your goals.

 I have worked in several different settings over the years including a school intervention program, a partial hospitalization program, a trauma and abuse center, a youth diversion program, as well as community agencies. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, panic, abuse, trauma, relationship and interpersonal problems, life transitions, self-esteem issues, etc…

 I provide services in office or through telehealth. I use an eclectic approach including principles from humanistic/person-centered, object-relations, CBT, Mindfulness, Existential, and attachment theories.

I work closely with a Psychiatrist and a Psychiatrist Physician Assistant, if needed medication management can be accessed at the same location.
